CONGRATULATIONS
to all of our Winners!!
You all did a great job! It was so much fun to see how each of you made our murals come to life.
The BIG round of applause goes to our
1st Place Winner
Melanie Sweeny - Paradise, NL Canada
"My 8 year old son was so happy and excited to see the race car/speed way mural on his wall!  Anytime someone comes over, the first thing he does is bring them to his room to show it off!"

2nd Place
Jana Stengel - Nottinghham, MD
"I painted this mural in the summer of 2013 when I was 6 months pregnant with my first child. My husband and I chose to decorate with owls because we wanted a gender neutral nursery theme.  However, when we found out we were going to have a girl, my husband painted the whole room pink :)  If we have a boy in the future, I'm going to carefully paint a new wall color around the mural so we can keep the owl theme!  Everyone who sees the nursery compliments the mural.  When they find out it's a trace and paint pattern, they're equally as impressed. For me, it was a labor of love to prepare for my first child."

Emerson went all out with our Grand Prix mural. He even added a race car bed in front of the mural to make it look like his son was "in the lead!". TOO much fun!

"I love my baby’s room.  We call it “the best room in the house!!!” We used to lie on the floor and look at the walls before he was born - we still do it sometimes. The pictures don’t do it justice.  It’s like out of a magazine. I am so pleased….thank you so much for the stencils.  I was a family project!!!   All the aunts and uncles helped too!!!!It was such a memorable experience.I think it will remain on the walls until he’s begging me to paint over it!!!!

Samantha Sharp - Miami, FL
"The first mural that I did was the large women that fits in the corner of the wall, and from that mural I was addicted. I had so much fun painting it that as soon as it was completed I ordered the woman sitting at the makeup table and began work on her as soon as I received it. Both of these murals are in my 8 year old daughters room and they are perfect for her. I have not even put up paintings because with these murals their is no need for any more art work. I am currently working on one of the paris street scenes in my children's playroom. Thank you so much for allowing me to have fun and truly feel like an artist."

Kelly Hill - Camden Point, MO
"I painted this mural while 7 months pregnant with our first baby. Now having two wonderful little kids, this mural has been a big hit because they have both had the cutest addiction with monkey's! As a unique feature i added our last name so this nursery can be used and enjoyed by more precious babies to come!"

"Painting the mural was a ton of fun and very easy to do.  When people see it they think that the mural is a sticker.  They never believe us and have to feel the wall to check  : )   We are so happy that we found your site!!"

Robin Pitts - Inola, OK
"I had so much fun with it. I did his bath first.  I went to Target and bought a jungle shower curtain.  Then I picked out towels and rugs to match the bright colors in the curtain.  I then used four of the colors from the curtain on different walls in the bath and the mirror.  The tan and chocolate brown are the same colors I used in his bedroom.  I used individual parts of the mural to put the lion and giraffes on each side of the mirror.  The hippos went under the window and the monkey in the tree went around the corner to the toilet area.  The baby lion hanging in the tree is on the opposite wall of the mirror so he can see its reflection.  We absolutely love his bathroom - it is such a bright and happy place."
NOTE: Robin reversed the pattern so the elephants would be headed toward the shower.

Sheila Stone - Tustin, CA
"I have been working on my guest room. Trying to give it a bed breakfast feel. Somewhere peaceful where my guests can relax and recharge. I wanted to do a wall mural but I can't draw or paint. A lot of the paint by number were too busy for my needs. Then I came across your Tranquil Tree. It was perfect. The perfect size and just the look and feeling I wanted. So, I bought the kit and some inexpensive paint brushes. I used left over white paint for the leaves and mixed the white and brown for the trunk and branches.
When it was done, I was so proud, I have showed everyone and they are amazed. Thanks for having just what I needed."
